Kim Shaw

Kim was born and raised in Tacoma, and is the youngest of five children. She spent 30 years studying dance, at the Tacoma Performing Dance Company and UW Dance Program. She received her BA in Psychology from the University of Washington, and is a part-time Dental Hygienist for her brother Dr. Greg Plancich.

Raised going to church, Kim found in her early 30’s that she was longing for a deeper relationship with God. After going on a Mission Trip to Africa, she came closer to Him, and met her husband, Dan shortly after. As the mother of three boys who has a passion for children knowing the love of Jesus, Kim became the Director of Emmanuel’s Kids Church, and Director of Discipleship in 2019. In her free time, she enjoys working out and spending time with her family.
